Belton "Jerry" Flick

FLICK. Belton J. "Jerry" Devoted husband of Dorothy H. Flick (nee Weese) for 70 years, beloved father of Retired Army Lt. Col. Gregory J. (Winnifred L.) Flick, Kimberly Flick and the late Diane Flick Wallace, grandfather of Jessica Zwolinski & Jerome L. Wilson. Also survived by other family & friends. Passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015. Age 91. Lifetime Norwood resident. Mass of Christian Burial, Holy Trinity Church, Montgomery & Drex Ave., Norwood on Thursday, March 26 at 11AM, where friends may call from 10AM until time of mass. Born on September 6, 1923, Jerry attended St. Elizabeth School, Norwood High School & studied at XU & UC. He started with the Norwood Police Dept in 1950 and rose through the ranks to become Chief of Police, serving as Chief from 1975-1980. He was instumental in starting the Norwoood Police Academy.
