Betty C. Perrino

Betty Clair Perrino (née Specht), the matriarch of our family, born December 12, 1934 died September 20, 2024, a few months shy of her 90th birthday. Daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Specht. Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Perrino and adoring grandma of her late granddaughter Gina Marie Perrino. Sister of the late, Robert (Frances), John (Martha) Specht, Lorraine (James) Vanderpool. Sister-in-law of the late Pasqua (John) Asalone, Robert Moorhead, Angelina, Frank, Anthony, Dominic Perrino, and Antoinette (James)Hicks. Survived by In-laws Mary Rose Moorhead, Barbara Perrino, Sharon Perrino and Nicholas (Paula) Perrino. Devoted mother to Frank (Nancy), Annamarie (Peter) Henkel, Christopher (Sandy), Anthony (Julie), Nicholas (Pamela), John (Janet), Rose (David) Williams, Catherine Perrino, Joseph (Julie) and Teresa (James) Flack. Grandmother to 26 and Great-Grandmother to 17. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and the many new friends that she made at her recent home at Mapleknoll Village.

While raising 10 children Betty helped Joe run his custom home building business by serving as his bookkeeper and supportive partner.

Betty and Joe moved to Florida to escape the winter weather she hated. She took up the new sports of tennis and bocce ball. She was a natural at tennis and she won many bocce ball tournaments. She would swim daily and made this her number one requirement when she moved back to Cincinnati, her new home had to have a pool.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mapleknoll Village, Auditorium ,11100 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246 on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 11:00-2:00PM
