Charlotte Helton

Charlotte (Gray) Helton (July 26, 1940-Sept. 8, 2024)

She was born in Pineville, Kentucky and moved to Cincinnati as a teenager where she would meet and marry Don and raise their four girls. They were very devoted and proud of their family, and enjoyed the holidays when the entire group would gather around the dinner table or the Christmas tree. They leave the family with many treasured memories.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life for 68 years: Donald Helton, her mother Alma Jackson, sisters: Josephine Hensley, Flossie Baker, Ethel Gudger, her brother Howard Noe, son-in-law Matthew Wilson and her great-grandson Hunter.

She leaves behind her 4 daughters: Barbara (David) Gibbs, Linda Wilson, Sharon (Allen) Bell, Donna (Todd) Newcomb. Seven grandchildren: Gabriel (Shalene) Bell, Ashley Bell, Alicia (George) Bowman, Brandon (Lindsey) Wilson, Aaron (Holly) Wilson, Hannah (Trent) Brewer and Jacob Newcomb. And 7 great-grandchildren: Gabriella, Easton, Owen, Brantley, Haley, Sierra and Preston.

She also leaves behind her church family which she loved and cared for deeply.

She was a pastor’s wife for over 4 decades. Together they founded and pastored Linwood Faith Tabernacle. Pastoring was their calling, and they devoted their life to the work of God and the church.

She will be missed here on earth, but what a glorious reunion in Heaven.
