Donald J Mills

Donald J. Mills was born Nov. 29, 1931 to Veronica E. (nee Ringer) and Byron H. Mills in Norwood, OH.  Don passed away at the age of 88 on April 10, 2020 at Mercy West Park  where he had been in residence.  He was predeceased by his brother Byron A. Mills, sister-in-law, Gloria Mills, brother-in-law, Marc Kesterson, and nephew, Jerry Bollen.  He leaves behind his sister, Regina Kesterson, nephew, David (Gail) Kesterson, nieces, Sharon K. Bollen, Bonnie(Richard) Kesterson-Dietrich, Amy (Bob) Vaughan, and Andrea M.(Bill) Bunch as well as great-nieces Heather Bollen (Sam) Hitchman , Stephanie(David) Tomlinson, Eileen Bunch, and Julia Bunch and great-nephews Christopher Bollen and Kevin (Mindy) Kesterson and four great-great nieces.  Don attended Purcell High School and the University of Cincinnati where he was a member of  Phi Delta Theta.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.   He was a longtime parishioner at Holy Trinity Church at Montgomery and Drex Ave. in Norwood where a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday July 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. now that gathering restrictions are lifted.   Visitation and burial were private.  Naegele, Kleb, and Ihlendorf  Funeral Home is serving the family.  Memorials are suggested to Purcell-Marian High School or Holy Trinity Parish 2420 Drex Ave. Norwood, OH 45212.
