PASLEY. Donald Lee, 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio. Passed away peacefully Sunday, September 27, 2015 surrounded by his family; born in
Chicago, IL on May 8, 1936. He was a one-of-a-kind man, who cherished his family, was a passionate photographer, painter, & lover of
classical music, who was always up for a good garage sale. His free-spirited outlook on life & his wonderful sense of humor brightened
the lives of everyone he met. He was an artisan and craftsman his entire life, studied art at the University of Cincinnati & the Chicago
Art Institute, and studied & painted in various cities around the world. He also worked in and taught stained glass, and was a successful
photographer, with works appearing in numerous Cincinnati publications. Although he sold many pieces, he painted mostly to fulfill his
passion. Beloved husband of Joyce Pasley (nee Hastings), adored father of Christine Pasley & Catherine (Nolan) Crowley, loving grandpa
of Harper Grace and Liam Crowley; brother of Dorothy Earnshaw. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd at the Cincinnati Art
Museum Castellini Foundation Room, 953 Art Museum Dr, 45202 from 5-8PM, with services to be held on Saturday, October 3rd at the
Church of the Advent, 2366 Kemper Ln, Cincinnati, 45206 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation checks made out to the School
of the Art Institute of Chicago ('Scholarship Fund' in memo field) can be sent to the family.
