BOECKMANN. Elaine (nee Osterhage) Beloved wife of John Boeckmann for 67 Years. Devoted mother of Kathleen (the late 'Phil') Phillips, Jacqueline (the late Reggie) Thomas, John (Marguerite), William (Laura), Thomas, Jerry (Anita), Kenneth & the late Robert Boeckmann. Cherished grandmother of 13, great grandmother of 11. Dear sister of Joan Coors & the late Ron Osterhage. Elaine lived for her family. Elaine loved her children & grandchildren dearly. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and the Virgin Mary. She had a passion for knitting and crocheting. She was a fantastic seamstress, making many costumes for the ice capades & debutant balls and she also made many a Barbie doll outfit. Bowling was a favorite past time as well. Passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017. Age 87. Residence Norwood. Visitation will be held at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood on Tuesday from 5-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial, Holy Trinity Church, Montgomery Rd/Drex Ave., Norwood on Wednesday, March 22 at 10AM. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
