Fred C. Giles, Jr

GILES. Fred C. Jr. 86 years old. Passed away peacefully in his home in Norwood where he lived 60 years. Loving Dad to son, Rick Giles and daughter in law Kim. Wonderful Grandpa to Josh (Missy) and Sam Giles, and Great Papaw to Jack, Sawyer & Iris. Preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sr. & Virginia Giles, sisters Dixie, Bonnie, Ruth & brother Jack. Survived by brothers, Ralph, Berlin & Frank and sister Barbara Ann. He was a hard construction worker, member of Local 265. Working on the construction of many highways, bridges, buildings, hospitals, airport & Riverfront Stadium. He also helped many friends with concrete sidewalks, porches & driveways. He was a memeber of the Norwood Masonic Lodge #576 F&AM for over 50 years. Funeral services will be held at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood on Tuesday, April 18 at 12:30PM where friends may call from 11:30AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Norwood Fire Assoc. Charity Fund, 4725 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, 45212.
