George Gilson Miltenberger III

George Gilson Miltenberger III died December 2, 2021 of an apparent heart attack. Born in Cleveland September 8, 1948 to Marjorie (nee Smith) and George Gilson Miltenberger, Jr. He grew up in Anderson and graduated from Anderson High School in 1966, where he was known as Fat Cat. He attended UC, where everyone called him Spanky.

He had a legendary roster of jobs from being the chef on Joe Kanter's "Southwind" motor yacht as it toured the Caribbean and South America, to co-owning Victor Tire in Milford, where being avid Formula One fans they had a Formula Ford team for twenty years.

He is survived by his three children, Kevin Miltenberger, Kasey Nelson, and Kelly (Chris) Hill, sisters Susanne (Ron Harris) Siebrase, Kathy White, Christine Smith, adorable grands Lexi Nelson and Carter Hill, his dear friend, Debra Simpson and beloved cat, Purrelli.

He was known for living large, with deeds and stories that are epic and true.  We will share them with smiles. Gil will be cremated and interred at Spring Grove Cemetery, but we know, in spirit, heaven just got a new bouncer working the pearly gates…
