Greg Stammer

Greg Stammer, loving father of David (Kristian Hoffman), Donald (Amanda) and Marcella (Michael Peterson, Jr.) Stammer, cherished grandpa of Emma, Cailin, Michael, the late Theodore, Abigail and Scarlett, adored brother of Kim (the late Steven) Conn, Doug (Gina) Stammer, Pam (Jerry) Carges and Todd (Tracy) Stammer. Also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the age of 70. 

With a teaching career spanning over 40 years, Greg devoted himself to the Cincinnati Public Schools, where he inspired countless students. His passion for education resonated deeply with both colleagues and students alike, earning him the respect and admiration of those fortunate enough to work alongside him.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Greg was a loving family man who cherished his time spent with his family, particularly his beloved grandchildren. Their laughter and joy brought him immense happiness, and he took great pride in being a part of their lives.

Greg was an avid supporter of Cincinnati's professional teams, including the Reds and Bengals, as well as the Bearcats and the University of Nebraska. He could often be found cheering passionately during games, sharing his enthusiasm and knowledge of the sports with those around him.

In addition to his love for education and sports, Greg served as the President of the Western Schoolman's Bowling League. He also found great pleasure in camping, relishing the moments spent outdoors and enjoying nature.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 8 at 11AM at Dearborn Hills Church, 25365 Stateline Rd, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Dearborn Hills Church in memory of Greg.
