Helen Theresa (Steinbicker) Geraci

GERACI. Helen Theresa (nee Steinbicker), of Norwood, passed away on January 1, 2021 at the age of 94.  Devoted wife of the late Charles L Geraci for 70 1/2 years. Beloved mother of Rev. Anthony Geraci, Chuck (Connie George), Terri (the late "Bucky") Tincher, Claudia Geraci (Robert Allanson), Paul (Meredith Robinson), Peter (Lisa Fetter), Cami Geraci (Gary Davis), Helene Geraci, Marie Geraci (the late Dan Wolf), Chris (Cheri Scott), Loraine Geraci (Scott Truhlar), Leo (Kathy Flaherty), Joe (Lori Wedgewood), Mario (Michelle Lamb), Angela Geraci-Lawson (Scott Lawson) and the late Gregory, Andrea & Emily Geraci. Cherished  grandmother of 30 and great grandmother of 28.  Dear sister of the late Joseph Steinbicker and wife Lorraine. Helen was a devout Roman Catholic and an active member of Holy Trinity Church, Norwood, Ohio. Previous to Holy Trinity, she was an active member of St. Matthew Parish, Norwood, and served on parish council. Helen and Charlie loved singing in the church choir especially midnight mass on Christmas Eve.   Helen graduated from St. Ursula Academy in 1944. She earned an Associate Degree in Performing Arts from University of Cincinnati in 1980. She served on Norwood City Council for 16 years and created the Norwood Domestic Crisis Committee. She was a classically trained pianist, loved musicals, was an amazing cook, was talented more than she would admit and loved all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is immensely loved and will not be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:  Hospice of Southwest Ohio Foundation, 7625 Camargo Road, Cincinnati, OH 45243. Visitation will be held at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, Ohio 45212 Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 4-7PM. Private funeral mass followed by burial services have been arranged for the family.
