On Saturday, May 28, 2022, Joseph Perrino passed away from natural causes at Mapleknoll Village. Joe leaves behind a beautiful legacy and a wonderfully large family with is wife Betty and 10 children: Frank (Nancy), Annamarie (Pete), Chris (Sandy), Tony (Julie), Nick (Pam), John (Janet), Rose (David), Cathy, Joe (Julie) and Teresa (James), 26 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Joe was born in Kokomo, Indiana to his parents who immigrated from Gallo Matese, Italy in the early 1900’s. His family, including 8 siblings, came to America and became part of the Italian community in Walnut Hills.
Joe attended Purcell Marion High School and went on to serve in the United States Air Force. He then married Betty and built his family in the greater Cincinnati area. He developed an excellent reputation as a tile setter then transitioned into a custom home builder. He leaves behind many beautiful homes in the Wyoming area.
After retirement, he and Betty moved to Florida and spent 15 years enjoying tennis and swimming in the sunshine state before coming home a few years ago.
He will be greatly missed.
