Karen Sue (Booth) Wiseman

On Friday, May 28, 2021, Karen Sue Wiseman (nee Booth), loving mother of four children went to live with Jesus at the age of 67.

Karen was born on April 13, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Norris Sr. and Lucille (Oliver) Booth.

Karen was predeceased by her parents, her sister Amy Lynn Booth, along with her husbands Robert Harris, Chet Sizemore, Richard Lapthorne and Michael Wiseman.

Karen is survived by her loving daughter Carole Lin Hayes, her loving sons Troy Harris, Ryan Harris, Jason Sizemore, and stepson Mark Wiseman, her loving grandchildren Richard, Angelina, Alexander, Christina [Carole]; Clayton [Troy]; Aiden, Brandon, Brianna, AJ, Samuel [Ryan]; Alisha, Jason [Jason]; her loving brothers Thomas Allen Booth, and his wife Margie Booth, Norris Booth Jr., David Booth, and his wife Kathleen McCalsky-Booth, Lance Booth, and his wife Linda Booth, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, most notably Joan Robinson, Carol Glensman, and her husband Jack Glensman, and Kelly Wilburn.

Karen was raised in Moscow, Ohio and Norwood, Ohio, lived in numerous states and foreign countries, never met an animal that she didn't love and care for, was fiercely loyal and devoted to her children, family and friends, would give anyone in need anything she could, and whose only human flaw was God forgetting to give her mouth a shut off switch.

On Mothers Day, May 9, 2021, Karen was blessed in her final days of life with the gift of being surrounded at her bedside by her four children who traveled across the country to hold and kiss their beloved mother one last time, and was able to know that they were there to hug and kiss them right back.

Karen will be laid to rest in her family's Henry County, Virginia cemetery next to her beloved sister Amy, where a graveside service will be held in the in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations to help pay funeral costs can be made by going to https://givesendgo.com/G24BM, and would be greatly appreciated, because, like the true Appalachian Mountain girl she lived her whole life being, Karen carried on the long family tradition of dying broke.
