Lois Gayle Carter

Lois Gayle Carter, 77 of Norwood, Ohio left us peacefully on October 24, 2024 in her home. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Lois, or "Gayle," will always be remembered for her kindness and love of family.

Born on August 15, 1947, in Lothair, Kentucky, Gayle grew up the only child of Ruby Faye and the late Earl Peters. She moved to Arizona in the 70s but returned home to Ohio in 1980 to be close to family. 

Gayle met and married Douglas L. Carter. They enjoyed 10 years of marital bliss until his passing in 2006.

Galye is survived by her loving mother, her 3 children Tonya, Richard and Michael, her bonus children Jamie and Doug, as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life at 11 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, Ohio, followed by a procession to Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford.
