Marjorie "Margie" Ann (nee Wessendarp) O'Connor, Todd. Also known by many as Me-the-Mom was born on July 2, 1942 passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 80 on Saturday September 3,2022 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Margaret (nee Bergheger) Wessendarp and Eugene O Wessendarp. Survived by her Children Coleen (Donny) Hausfeld, Sean O'Connor and Michael (Lisa) O'Connor. Her grandchildren Kelly "Me-the- Mouse" Timon. Kathleen "Miss Kates" (Michael) Bowling, Christopher Hausfeld. Alexander "Pucker" Hausfeld, Samual O'Connor, Emma O'Connor, Jack O'Connor and Grace O'Connor. Great Grandchildren Nathan Timon, Payton Ott, Asher Hausfeld and Raelyn "the baby" Bowling. Bonus great grandchildren Aiden and Corena Bowling. She was also survived by her sisters Kay (Harold) Brooks and Barbara "Doody" (Eddie) Trotta her niece Tina Carrelli "with hole in her belly "Minnick along with a host of other nieces and nephews.
She grew up in St. Bernard, Ohio and attended St. Clement School then OLA. She married and raised 3 children. While working at Miller Brothers Paints, she decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. She attended Christ Hospital school of nursing where she excelled. After graduating she worked at Christ Hospital for several years as an oncology nurse. After a short hiatus she took a job as an administrator of the Faculty Medical Center at Good Samaritan Hospital in which she retired from at the age of 69. Her next career was her most rewarding of all, caring for her great granddaughter and best friend, Payton.
Her favorite place to travel was Kiawah Island SC and Charleston SC. She was a southern girl at heart even though she spent her entire life in Cincinnati.
She was stubborn, generous and a very genuine person. She always had advice even if you did not want to hear it. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will all her heart. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will take place at St. Clement Church, 4536 Vine Street., St. Bernard, Ohio 45217 on Saturday, September 10 from 10-11AM with a Memorial Mass at 11AM. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to the Dragon Fly Foundation, 506 Oak Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45219.
