Mert (nee Croley). Devoted wife of the late Bill Uchtman of 47 years. Beloved mother of Debbie (Dewayne) Bryant, Linda (Tom) Shaw & Bill (Shellie) Uchtman.  Cherished Mama of Erika (Chris) Shannon, Andrew Bryant (Meredith Melvin) & Amanda (Joel) Wickham, Patrick (Constance) Shaw & Katie Shaw, Matt Uchtman & Hannah (Brittanie) Uchtman and Marty & Philp (Lauren) Dolby. Adoring great grandmother of Elijah and Ivy. Dear sister of Jeannie Dooley, Bud Croley, Louise Niesen, Linza Croley & the late Deva Vogt. Passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the age 82. Former resident of Norwood, Ohio. Mert enjoyed years of selling & collecting antiques with her beloved husband as well as enjoying family at Lake Lorelei. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 7th at 11 AM at  Holy Trinity Church, Montgomery Rd & Drex Ave, Norwood. Friends may call prior to Mass from 9-10:30 AM at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd. Memorials may be directed to All Dogs Come from Heaven or the Norwood Firefighters Association.
