Velma C. (O'Hara) Smith

SMITH. Velma C. passed away January 25, 2019 at the age of 91. Loving mother of the late William R. Smith (late Lois), Kathleen Suer (Bernard), Colleen Wilder (Parrish), Jacqueline Lynch (Donald), grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of  late Evelyn Wergowske (late Gilbert), late Ann O'Hara, late James O'Hara (late Madeline), late Rosemary Kennedy (late William). She was a long time resident of Norwood and was the first woman named to the Norwood Service Commission. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church located at 2420 Drex Ave., Norwood, Ohio 45212 on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Church, Norwood, Ohio or Hospice of Cincinnati.
