Brigid Kelly

Brigid Kelly passed away surrounded by love on March 26, 2024. Brigid's greatest blessings were her spouse, family, and friends, to whom she was deeply loyal. She loved big family celebrations, debating the latest political issues, spending time at activities with her nieces and nephew, and making the most of every day. Brigid is survived by her spouse, Steve Culter, parents Martha Tepe and Robert Kelly, brothers Ned (Heather) Kelly and Gregory (Oluwafisayo) Kelly, and a large extended family. She is awaited in Heaven by the family who preceded her in death, including her brother, Nicholas Robert Kelly.A proud daughter of Norwood, Ohio, Brigid was a graduate of Saint Ursula Academy, Xavier University, and the University of Cincinnati. Whether in her career serving the members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, in the Ohio Statehouse standing up for her constituents, or as the Hamilton County Auditor fighting for consumers, Brigid worked to ensure that more people had the opportunity for a better life.Our family will be forever grateful to Dr. Irfan Firdaus and the skilled medical team who provided care to Brigid after her cancer diagnosis. We offer special thanks to Dr. Monir Tabbosha, Dr. John Roberts, and Karin Tepe Kagrise. We appreciate the team at Queen City Hospice for their service to our family. Thank you all for giving us the gift of more time together. We also gratefully acknowledge the many kindnesses extended to our family during the past 2 years.We encourage you to wear Brigid's signature green as part of the celebration of life. Visitation is April 3 from 4pm-8pm at Naegele Kleb & Ihlendorf, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, OH 45212.
