Ethel Josephine Zwick

Ethel Josephine Zwick, 86, of Norwood, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2017.

Born September 25, 1930 Ethel is preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Frank Miller; her late husband Donald Joseph Zwick;

two brothers Reverend Francis Miller and Bill Miller; two sisters Mildred Gallant and Lorraine Miller; and brother-in-law Francis Gallant.

Ethel is survived by her two daughters Judith Zwick and Jennifer Zwick-Webb; two grandchildren Donald Joseph and Addison Josephine;

two great-grandchildren Dallen Joseph and Maxton Grey; son-in-law Mark Webb; sister-in-law Mary Jean Miller, and by cherished nieces,

nephews and many friends. Ethel went to Regina High School and graduated from Mount St Joseph College with a degree in nursing. Ethel

served the community as a Dominican Sister of the Sick Poor for 16 years. She continued her professional career as Director of Nursing

for Shriners Burn Institute and Cincinnati General Hospital. She and her husband went on owning a restaurant establishment prior to her

husbands death in 1982, as well as serving as Norwood Health Commissioner prior to her retirement. Ethels retirement was spent on her

love of time spent with family, dear friends, her flowers, and a great TV mystery story. Memorial Mass at St. Cecilia Church, 3105 Madison

Road, Oakley 45209, on Wednesday March 8 at 10:30 a.m.. Burial will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may

be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, Cincinnati, Ohio 45263.
